Kelly Clarkson said she was so touched by a viral video showing young patients at Seattle Children's Hospital (many of whom have lost their hair during cancer treatment) lip-syncing and dancing with nurses to her song, that she sent a video response to the kids explaining how moved she was. The “Stronger” video has had more than half a million hits on YouTube since it was posted, with an outpouring of people leaving comments expressing their support for the kids. The video was created for the hospital’s “Not Now” program, which aims to help adolescents and young adults cope with cancer by providing creative projects to connect with their peers. The video's creator said the making of the video was an uplifting event for the kids and nurses on the floor: “It was a fun, happy thing to do; a great distraction to the kid’s treatment.”
