It’s been quite a year for Jimmy Fallon. Becoming the host of The Tonight Show is certainly something to be rightly proud of. But in a cover story for People magazine, he shares the achievement that may mean the most to him: “Being a father is the most exciting, amazing thing that ever happened to me. And everything is going well on the show. My life has never been this cool.”
It took Jimmy and his wife, Nancy, five years of trying to conceive before their daughter Winnie was born via surrogate last July. So this is his 1st Father’s Day as a dad. “Having my daughter just makes everything so much better,” he says. “I didn’t think it was going to be this fun. Everything just gets heightened when you have a baby. There’s no need to stress, because it’s all great. The volume gets turned up on life. I never knew I could be this happy, and that’s the truth.”
