Do you ever wake up wishing you could remember what you were dreaming about? You don’t remember 99% of your dreams, but many times they address aspects of your physical and mental well-being. Kelly Sullivan Walden, author of It’s All in Your Dreams, believes that you can actually control your dreams and allow them to benefit your health. In an episode of the Dr. Oz Show, Walden shared a few tips on how to remember your dreams. Instead of hopping out of bed right away in the morning, try lying in the same position for about five minutes and seeing if you can recall what you were dreaming about. Taking vitamin B6 can also help you to remember your dreams, since it improves brain health and allows you to dream more clearly. Remembering positive dreams can help to lower your stress levels and can reduce your risk of obesity and cancer. Try keeping a dream journal to track your dreams over time. Eight hours of sleep is recommended for healthy adults, according to the National Sleep Foundation.
